VersionGreen River is proud to offer $ 10,000 in
scholarships each year to international students. International students contribute
to the college by building cultural bridges and creating a global community on campus.
International Student Scholarships are intended to recognize these contributions and help
strengthen this vital program.
To be considered for a scholarship, students must have completed at least one quarter at
GRCC and be currently enrolled full-time in either our Intensive English Porgram or an
academic program. The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, a
personal essay, and demonstrated leadership.
Three $ 1200 scholarships are awarded fall quarter and
are distributed over three consecutive quarters ($400 per quarter). To be considered
for this scholarship, students must intend to study at GRCC for three consecutive quarters
and have a minimum GPA of 3.3.
Twenty-four $ 300 scholarships - (eight per quarter - fall, winter, and spring).
Students must have a minimum GAP of 3.0. They may re-apply for this scholarship.
