A 9 day intensive program focusing on research,
communication and encounters with marine mammals (dolphins, manatees and sea lions) and the various wild and aquatic life of Florida. This course is designed for any level of ESL student. This program is also recommended for Oceanography, Veterinary and Biology students, outdoor enthusiasts...etc. Starting Dates: Individuals - December 1-9, 2001 Groups of 8 or more - any Saturday year round Daily Schedule: •Day 1: Depart Vancouver for Miami, Florida •Day 2: Information session and structured swim with Bottlenose dolphins •Day 3: Dolphin research lectures and training signals •Day 4: Coral reef studies + visit to Key deer and bird sanctuary •Day 5: Visit to Florida Everglades National Park + hike •Day 6: Manatee swim and encounter + visit to wildlife rescue center •Day 7: Visit to Disney World's Wild Animal Kingdom •Day 8: Blue Springs State Park - Hike, Manatee watch and nature trip •Day 9: Depart Orlando, Florida for Vancouver This course is led by an experienced ESL teacher, tour guide and wildlife enthusiast.
