Notification about SARS

If you are considering returning to your home country during the vacation period and are from the currently affected areas, please be aware that due to the worldwide SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) on your return to Adelaide, you will be requested not to attend classes for the first 7 days of term following you return.

The affected areas (as of 7/4/03) are: Canada, Singapore, Guangdong, Hong Kong SAR, Shanxi, Taiwan and Hanoi.

Students from these areas will be provided with class notes so that any non-attendance will not affect their studies. This non-attendance will also not impact on the student visa attendance requirements.
